Recovering Futures Careers

Working for or with Recovering Futures is a straightforward and simplified process. The widespread inclusion/addition of Certified Recovery Peer Specialists’ (CRPS) has been the goal of many State Certification Officials for decades and is now the next step in improving the quality of information received by clinical treatment teams about the individuals under their care. The Peer-Centered Recovery model is now ready to step into the space created for them and the many recipients of CRPS Services. Recovering Futures is most certainly ready to begin.

How we work here 101

Since the fall of 2020, we have compiled all the people, places and things necessary to prepare an individual telehealth practitioner to succeed. We went further and created an exclusive Peer-based Mobile Application we call the Recovering Futures CoRPS App. We can now facilitate individual Peer Services virtually, and repeatedly. In short, Peers…CRPSs…can now join the Certified Telehealth Practitioner (CTP) Community.

Are you already a credentialed or provisionally credentialed CRPS?

Do you want to work one-on-one with individuals in need of someone who really understands what they are talking about or experiencing, and do it on a recurring basis if desired by the referred individual?

Can you can commit to obtaining your CTP credential as required?

Do you, within certain limits, want to set your own work schedule and availability?

The Peers In Project

A Certified Recovery Peer & Peer Telehealth Practitioner Workforce Training and Employment Project, brought to you in Partnership with the National Alliance on Mental Illness – NAMI, and the I AM HERE For Vets Corporation.

The Peers In Project – The purpose of the Peers In Project (PIP) is in its name. We have assembled a team of Program Managers, Educators, Qualified Supervisors, Peer Supervisors, and Certified Recovery Peer Specialists (CRPSs) to get ‘Peers In’ to the specialized treatment roles created for them. When paired with the Exclusive Recovering Futures CoRPS Mobile APP or similar Telehealth Mobile Platform, these Providers can provide the coverage of a great many telehealth interactions between Credentialed & Provisionally Credentialed Peer Telehealth Practitioners (PTPs) and the persons referred by a Clinical Treatment Team to engage in Peer Level (Peer Provided/Led) Services. Credentialed & Provisional CRPSs and those who have the unique characteristics and life experience we require may apply to take their first and next steps now.

CRPS Exam Prep: Up to 18 Attendees (6-day, Live, Online, Instructor-Led, 48 CEU Presentation)

CTP Exam Prep: Up to 24 Attendees (2-day, Live, Online, Instructor-Led, 18 CEU Presentation)

(*CTP applicants of some Certifying Agencies will also require six (6) supervised sessions on a live ‘APP/Telehealth Platform’, which are not or provided included in this Course)

Program Goal: By the end of Calendar Year 2023, the Peers In Project will prepare and employ Seventy-two (72)+ Peer Telehealth Practitioners in Florida, to conduct non-Clinical, yet Clinically-referred/directed and supportive ½ hour interactions with persons referred for Peer or Peer Telehealth Practitioner Services and Assistance.

This is a no cost opportunity and offer made by RF and our Partners, to persons who will commit some portion of their available/otherwise free time to provide Peer/Peer Telehealth Services once fully trained and Certified/Provisionally Certified as CRPSs, AND, Formally Telehealth Trained by RF in this Project. A Formal Agreement between the Project Participant (Student) and RF will be required of all Participants.
